Our fertilization and weed control plan is our most popular lawn service, and it’s tailored for your specific grass. We apply fertilizer at optimum times throughout the year based on your specific type of lawn. Pre- and post-emergent weed control is applied to prevent and kill broadleaf and grassy weeds.
Core aeration is recommended annually for Northwest Arkansas lawns. Over time, your soil becomes compacted from drought and lawn traffic. Core aeration removes small, finger-sized plugs or cores of soil to allow moisture and nutrients to reach the root system of your lawn. Core aeration also helps to correct thatch buildup. Thatch is a thin layer of decaying grass clippings that can block water and nutrients from reaching the root system.
Most Northwest Arkansas lawns are acidic and can greatly benefit from an annual application of granular lime to lower the pH level of your soil. This makes nutrients more available and promotes a thicker, greener lawn. For optimum results, lime application is included in your lawn service plan.
White grubs are the most common turf pests in Northwest Arkansas. Grubs feed on the roots of your turf and can cause small, unsightly brown patches on your lawn. Grubs are also a favorite food source for moles. Eliminating grubs can discourage damaging mole activity in your lawn. However, since moles have many food sources, such as earthworms, we cannot guarantee that moles will not enter your lawn. If you’d like to add grub control to your Lawn Service Plan, that’s easy to do. We also offer mole trapping and baiting!
